The establishment of Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb is buildings folow an organic layout of narrow cobblestone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. The budget focused millitary grade defenses has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.
A look around Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb is led by one or more incompetents. While they must have been very good at something to have acquired the position, they are fundamentally incapable of leading. Uncontrolled passions or lusts, commitment to a hopelessly impractical ideal, pigheaded obstinacy in the face of failure, a total lack of charisma or interpersonal skills, or profound laziness might all unfit them for their post.
Fìkh Hubzæ Budbǐb's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century Tarn Thol began to boil, and released a thick toxic cloud from beneath its waters which devastated , killing every person and animal in its path which could not escape the cloud. Oddly, the plants of the region flourished in the years after the disaster. An estimated people, livestock, and buildings were lost to the disaster. The disaster is referred to as the Damnation Wind.
